Yasemin Jones

Adjunct Academy Investigator and Coordinator



Yasemin Jones, Ph.D. is the Co- Principal Investigator of the Adjunct Academy at City Tech, a three-year multi goal grant from the US Department of Education that is serving students from the School of Technology and Design in gatekeeper career track courses. Yasemin coordinates the day-to-day activities of grant implementation and is responsible for meeting grant goals from semester to semester. Yasemin works closely with the project director, Elaine Maldonado, the director of the College Learning Centers, in order to implement, disseminate, and institutionalize grant objectives at the College. The opportunity to work with City Tech students, adjunct and full time faculty, department chairs, and administrative staff has been a profoundly important experience for Yasemin.
