Occupational History:

  • 1995 - 2005: Chairperson of the Social Science Department of New York City College of Technology, The City University of New York.
  • 1977 - Present: Certified Hypnotherapist in private practice specializing in anxiety reduction, weight control and smoke cessation.
  • 1971 - Present: Full Professor of Psychology. Courses taught include Child Psychology and Abnormal Psychology…at NYC Technical College, New York, N.Y.

Education:

  • 1981 - PhD - New York University, specializing in research on motivation.
  • 1968 - MS Degree in General-Experimental Psychology from the University of Bridgeport, specializing in child-peer relationship and therapeutic techniques for increasing popularity in children. Dissertation dealt with the attempt to increase popularity in children using individual-contingent group reinforcement.
  • 1966 - BS Degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, N.Y.
