Hospitality Management (BTech & AAS)

Our associate degree program features top-notch cooking, baking and pastry classes. In this way we provide a superior educational experience that trains the whole hospitality management professional. Taking classes in our culinary/pastry/baking labs extends your education into the real world where our formal dining room experience ensures on-the-job training.The Hospitality Management Department of New York City College of Technology offers two degrees to individuals interested in career opportunities in the hospitality industry

A two-year associate in applied science degree and a four-year program leading to the bachelor of technology degree – the only four-year program of its kind in the greater New York area. Courses are available both day and evening for the convenience of those already employed.

Tourism Management (BTech)

The hospitality management department also offers a multi-disciplinary option in tourism in our BTech degree program. Students who complete the City Tech associate's degree in hospitality management or are graduates of other accredited travel and tourism associate degree programs can transfer into this upper-level option.

Those following the tourism track take a core of hospitality management courses combined with tourism courses that prepare them for a management career in the fields of meeting planning, destination development, resort/convention/conference marketing and/or policy development.
