Welcome to the Department of Radiologic Technology & Medical Imaging website. We are pleased to help students fulfill both their educational and professional needs. Our department offers an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology, 65 credits, and a new and exciting Bachelor of Science degree in Radiological Science (BSRS), 55 credits for a total of 120 credits. The AAS degree program requires a full-time, day-only commitment for two years, including summersessions. Upon completion of this degree, graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification and licensing exam. These credentials are necessary for entry into the profession of medical imaging.
AAS in Radiologic Technology & Medical Imaging has 8-year accreditation from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT): 2007-2015.
2012 American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Pass Rate: 98%.
BSRS is approved by the NYS Department of Higher Education and follows the Curriculum Guidelines of the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT).
