Nursing
Professor McGuinn teaches Foundations of Caring to first- semester students and is the coordinator of all clinical placements for them. She presents an overview of the introductory courses and beginning nursing student requirements at the semi-annual Nursing Information Sessions held in November of the fall semester and April of the spring semester. Professor McGuinn serves as the faculty liaison to the graduates for their Pinning Ceremony and grant administrator for the U.S. Department of Public Health Scholarships for Disadvantaged Students (SDS), currently in its seventh consecutive award year.

Professor McGuinn serves on the college-wide Freshman Orientation Program, Assessment Outcomes, Recruitment Clearinghouse, Strategic Planning on Recruitment and Retention, Title V and College Association Board (CAB).
She holds a BS in Nursing from Niagara University and an MA in Nursing from New York University, with a major in Biophysical Pathology.
