Professor McGibbon is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing. She teaches in the Associate Degree Program, second semester. Professor McGibbon holds a B.S. in Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing, an M.S. in Nursing from Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing and a Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Pace University. She is currently a doctoral student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She previously served as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University and Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing. She also served in the Graduate/Under-graduate and RN Pathway Program as a Full-Time Instructor at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing for the past six years. Prof. McGibbon has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Dept. of Orthopedics and Neurosurgery/Spine Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. She is a Nurse Clinician with 32 years of Operating Room and surgical nursing experience. She maintains an active clinical practice in New York City as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
