1984 - Present Founding Chairperson, Brooklyn AIDS Task Force.
Supervised the development of the organization and provided direction for its senior management for fourteen years. Lobbied State Legislators and other public and private organizations for funding and public support. Responsible for Board of Trustee development, training and organizational strategic planning.
1988 - 2008 Member, Board of Trustees. Urban Resource Institute.
The Urban Resources Institute is a not-for-profit; minority operated organization, which provides services to the developmentally disabled, battered women, and chemically - dependent individuals and their families. It has an annual budget of nine million dollars.
1992 - 1996 Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Urban Resource Institute.
1998 - 2001 Chairman of the Board, Urban Resource Institute.
2000 - Present Independent Member, Board of Trustees, Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center and Rutland Nursing Home.
2003 - Present Member, Board of Directors, Health Industries Resources Enterprises.
2003 - 2004 Vice Chair, Board of Directors, Health Industries Resources Enterprises, New name-Comunilife.
