Hospitality Management
Halton Merrill has a bachelor degree from the University of Central Connecticut and a masters degree in Education from the University of Southern Maine. While at USM, he also studied administration and supervision for both education and the public sector. His employment in the restaurant industry in both the front and back of the house has given him an understanding of the requirements to be a successful hospitality manager. He was employed as a director of Mutli Tasking Systems of New York, a not for profit agency, where he directed the training staff who assisted disabled individuals returning to the workforce. He has a background in corporate management and well as public school administration. As a consultant to small business, he applied his skills in human resource management, organizational behavior and marketing.
