Drew Farrow is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Entertainment Technology Department at New York City College of Technology. His specialties are technical design and scenic construction.
Drew has been a part of the arts on both coasts as well as places in between. Drew earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Centenary College of Louisiana with a major in technical theatre and a minor in philosophy and has his M.F.A. in Technical Design and Production from the Yale School of Drama.
Drew has constructed scenic pieces for scores of productions of all types and currently works as a technical designer at Showman Fabricators in Long Island City, New York. There, he has worked on close to a hundred different projects, which include Broadway and Off- Broadway Theatre, Television, Fashion Shows, Theme Park Installations and Corporate Events, to name a few. In addition to Showman and City Tech, some of the places he has also worked include PCPA Theatrefest, Yale Repertory Theatre, Yale Summer Cabaret, and New Haven International Festival of Arts and Ideas. He has also worked as a freelance stagehand for theatre, fashion, and music events all over the country.
