Professor Leston is a rhetorician of new media environments and postmodern philosophy. He is the author of “Unhinged: Kairos and the Invention of the Untimely” (Atlantic Journal of Communication 21:1, 29-50) and coauthor with Aaron Barlow of Beyond the Blogosphere: Information and Its Childern (Praeger, 2012). His research includes studies in the avant garde arts of sound, film, video, and philosophy as they apply to expanding the scope of rhetorical invention in both traditional and digital media environments.
