"We Make Smiles"
What Do Dental Laboratory Technicians Do? Since each dental patient's specific needs are different, the work of a dental laboratory technician are comprehensive and varied. Most dental technicians do not work directly with patients. They work directly with dentists by following detailed written instructions and using impressions (molds) of the patient's oral tissues and/or teeth to create:
- Full Dentures for patients who are missing all of their teeth
- Removable Partial Dentures for patients who are missing some,
but not all of their teeth.
- Crowns/Laminates which are caps for the patient's natural teeth.
- Orthodontic Appliances to help in correcting mal-alignments
of the teeth.
- Maxio Facial Appliances which replace parts of the patient's face and/or oral cavity.
