Professor X. Li received his Ph.D. from the Graduate Center of CUNY. Having worked for five years as a specialist in the IT industry before coming to City Tech, Professor Li is now building the information security laboratory which is supported by DOD. Professor Li is also a faculty member of Ph.D. programs in Computer Science and Physics at the CUNY Graduate Center, instructing doctoral candidates. In fall 2004 and spring 2005, he received a CUNY Salute to Scholars Award, honoring outstanding scholarly achievements and contributions to the creation and transmittal of knowledge. Dr. Liās research includes information security, quantum information and physics. Part of his research is supported by NSF and DOD.
