Professor Malyuta received her master's Degree in Applied Mathematics and her PhD in Computer Science from the State University, Lviv, Ukraine. Professor Malyuta has over fifteen years experience in programming and database design and computer-aided information systems development.
Her research interests are data models, data design, and database technologies. She has five years teaching experience in the Computer Science Department of Polytechnic University in Ukraine and five years of teaching in the Computer Systems Technology Department at NYCTC
