Professor Simmons is an alumnus of City Tech with two AAS degrees (Mechanical Technology ö â63, and Data Processing ö â82. He also has a BBA degree in Statistics and Information systems from Baruch College and a MS degree from Polytechnic University (Management Information systems). He rose to the position of a programmer/analysts during his years of employment with AT&T. In 1992, he returned to City Tech as a part-time adjunct lecturer, teaching courses while still employed by AT&T. Professor Simmons has since retired from AT&T and is currently teaching as a full-time lecturer.
