The Department of Construction Management and Civil Engineering Technology has provided trained engineering and construction management technicians for New York City's construction and public works industries since 1947. Students are offered two degree options, (Construction Management Technology and Civil Engineering Technology) which share a closely aligned base of courses in structural technology, surveying and other technical subjects, along with a foundation of liberal arts courses.

Course work includes topics in the construction of high rise buildings, bridges and other structures. There are also topics related to public works projects, including highways and other transportation systems, as well as water supply and waste water treatment. All are available in two-degree choices to enhance your career opportunities!
