  • Design and synthesis of biologically conjugated porphyrinoid compounds, such as porphyrins, chlorins and pthalocyanines.
  • Spectroscopic studies of porphyrin and related molecules.
  • Biochemical aspects of porphyrin-based photosensitizers for photodynamic therapy (PDT), cancer and anti-viral therapies.
