Christopher Frenz holds a B.S. degree in Biology and Chemical Engineering from Manhattan College and a M.S. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from New York Medical College. He is in in the final stages of completing his Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Liege. Christopher Frenz is the author of two computer programming books "Visual Basic and Visual Basic .NET for Scientists and Engineers" and "Pro Perl Parsing" and has extensive experience in the field of computational biology. Frenz's research interests include the development of machine learning and artificial intelligent approaches to protein engineering as well as the modeling of protein structure and function relationships. Frenz also has an active interest in the application of text mining methodologies to biomedical literature.
