ROBERT ARMSTRONG

Career:

Professor Robert Armstrong earned his Associate's Degree in Mechanical Technology from City Tech, his Bachelor's in Electromechanical Technology from the City College of New York in 1978, and his Master's in Computer Information Science from Brooklyn College in 1984. He has taught full-time at City Tech since 1984. Prior to teaching at this college, his experiences include working as an HVAC Designer, Electronic Engineer, Technical Writer, Software Engineer, and Systems Engineer. He is a member of the New York State Engineering Technology Association. Professor Armstrong is very interested in student learning and retention. He participates in the Learning Communities, the Adjunct Academy, and has served as a Curriculum Specialist on a National Science Foundation grant for Self-Regulated Learning.
