Timothy W. Reinig is an Assistant Professor of Business at New York City College of Technology and a member of the Consortial Faculty for the CUNY Online Baccalaureate in Business at the School of Professional Studies of The Graduate Center. He also teaches Intellectual Property for Information and Technology Managers in several graduate degree programs in the Department of Management at Polytechnic University, where he is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Law. Prior to his appointments at CUNY, Professor Reinig was the Chief Legal Officer and Director of Marketing at BiGKiD Inc. and Moxie Mouse Media, a global e-Commerce and New Media Web hosting and design group in Silicon Alley. A cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law, Professor Reinig is a former clinical law clerk to The Honorable John T. Curtin of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York and holds degrees from Oberlin College and the University of Michigan. Professor Reinig also received a postgraduate Certificate in e-Business Development from the Marketing and Management Institute of New York University. Professor Reinig is an award-winning author of several publications on business, e-Commerce, law, marketing and technology, and appears regularly as a lecturer at the Business Outreach Center of the City of New York, the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising, New York University, and Polytechnic University. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York and an active participant in its City Bar Justice Center pro bono publico Neighborhood Entrepreneur Law Program. He is also a member of the Internet and Cyberspace Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and a long-standing Member-at-Large of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
