Sanjive Vaidya, Assistant Professor

Sanjive is a founding partner of Vaidya Stoltz Architects, LLP in New York City, a design firm engaged in residential and commercial architecture and interiors. Developing a craft of construction, Vaidya Stoltz Architects maintains high quality work through established relationships and informed dialogue with contractors and trades people. Sanjive currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Architecture at CUNY - New York City College of Technology, where he teaches design and sustainable building.

Upon completing his graduate studies, he worked at Pei Cobb Freed and Partners and then joined Davis Brody Bond Architects. As an Associate his project experience included research laboratories, schools, and Master Planning projects for the Department of State Overseas Building Operations.

Sanjive holds a Masters Degree in Design from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture and Planning, where he was the recipient of the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Award for Scholastic Achievement by the Association of Indians in America and the Fackenthal Scholarship. He holds a Bachelors of Architecture from Catholic University of America where he graduated with honors and was invited as a guest critic for the summer design studios.

Sanjive has a number of projects and articles published regarding his design work with Vaidya Stoltz Architects. The firm is winning awards and achieving recognition for its design approach and meticulous craft.
