Professor Carmen Gayle Trudell is a designer. Her expertise ranges from single family homes on the California coast to 40-story high-rise, mixed-use residential towers in Manhattan; from teaching professionals AutoCAD to teaching fourth graders the Built Environment Educational Program (BEEP); from design and engineering of a do-it-yourself individual power plant to large scale sustainable urban planning including local power production; from graphic design to space planning for an anti-terrorist training facility at a nuclear power plant. Professor Trudell is a partner in BOTH, a laboratory investigating the relationship between landscape and architecture.
