Professor Dikigoropoulou holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Architecture and Building Design from Columbia University. She has studied traditional Chinese architecture in China and was the team leader for a National Park Service project to document the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. She is a Registered Architect in both the US and Cyprus and maintains NCARB certification as well. She has experience with a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from brownstone renovations to health clubs and airport terminals, and, in the process, has interacted extensively with the New York City Buildings and Landmarks Preservation Departments.
As a native of Cyprus and a frequent world traveller, she draws from a diverse palette of experiences when devising her solutions to particular architectural challenges. This summer she will be helping students broaden their experiences by serving as an advisor for a tour of Greek architectural sites.
Professor Dikigoropoulou is also an accomplished potter.
