Professor Dikigoropoulou holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science in Architecture in Building Design from Columbia University. She has studied traditional Chinese architecture in China and was the team leader for a National Park Service project to document the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina. She is a Registered Architect in both the US and Cyprus and maintains NCARB certification as well. She has experience with a wide range of residential and commercial projects, from brownstone renovations to health clubs and airport terminals, and, in the process, has interacted extensively with the New York City Buildings and Landmarks Preservation Departments.
As a native of Cyprus and a frequent world traveler, she draws from a diverse palette of experiences when devising her solutions to particular architectural challenges. She is the international education liaison for the Department.
Professor Dikigoropoulou is also an accomplished potter.
