Professor James F. Quinn has been a full-time member of the faculty since 1984. He earned an AAS degree in Graphic Arts at New York City Community College (CUNY) and a B. S. in Education from the City College of New York (CUNY). He attended Baruch College (CUNY) enrolling in a Master’s degree in higher education. He was inducted into the 1998 Edition of International WHO’S WHO of professionals.
He also served as a consultant to Empire State College (SUNY) evaluating work experience for college credit and conducting interviews in specific areas of advertising production management, design and graphic arts.
He has conducted In-Service Courses – Professional Development Program for the Board of Education of the City of New York and served as an examination administrator testing candidates for high school teaching positions.
Professor Quinn’s first career was in the Printing Industry of New York City. He was employed in print production management in many of New York City’s major newspapers: New York Daily News, New York Times, New York Herald Tribune, and the Long Island Press. His industry experience also included designing and conducting print production classes at the New York School of Printing for industry employees.
