Learning Center
The College Learning Center provides tutoring to all registered students at City Tech. Tutoring in the Learning Center is available on a drop-in basis from 10:00am-8:00pm from Monday through Thursday, until 3:00pm on Friday and from 12noon- 5:00pm on Saturday. Student-friendly drop-in services have been designed to meet the atypical schedules of working students and/or students with family obligations.
We encourage all students to make regular visits to the Learning Center in an effort to supplement the classroom with one to one and small group academic support.

The New Student Center
The New Student Center, created under the Title V program, offers a comprehensive program of academic advisement and career and transfer counseling for new students. Carefully trained advisors and counselors use a holistic approach to advisement and registration focusing on a student’s interests and abilities to design an academic program that will help that student reach his or her academic goals and professional aspirations. Every advisor is committed to helping students understand the registration process and to answer any questions or concerns that students might have at any time during the semester.
Smart classroom
Classroom Enhancement: "smart classroom" equipment has been installed in four classrooms. The equipment includes: faculty computer, video equipment, document camera, video projector for computer, screen, speakers, whiteboards and remote keyboard for students’ input to allow faculty to enhance curriculum delivery. One of these classrooms is also equipped with 26 computers and is used by the Mathematics Department. By September 2005 we will equipped another six classrooms with these instructional technologies.
Library
Each summer faculty from the library offer workshops to faculty in the Learning Communities as part of the Summer Institute. These workshops empower faculty to utilize the many resources of the library and incorporate information Literacy them in their courses.
