Learning Communities Curriculum
At New York City College of Technology students join a year-long learning community which shares a common curriculum and a faculty team dedicated to working and learning with first-year students. Learning Community College's first-year curriculum is an alternative route to the fulfillment of many General Education requirements.
This curriculum is based on a foundation of sound research, innovative instructional techniques and quality curricula developed by our experienced faculty. We have created developmental goals and curriculum guidelines for each subject and content area to assist faculty in planning their daily and weekly programs. The result is the opportunity for each of our students to develop a strong foundation in academic learning.
This section features course descriptions, online syllabi, and information on general education equivalencies.
