Learning Communities
Learning Communities Assessment
Learning communities can be designed to address several educational concerns faced by institutions of higher education. Common goals of learning communities include supporting academic engagement of students with other students and/or faculty; improving the academic climate on campus; developing curriculum content; improving pedagogy; and connecting existing or developing new campus resources to support the academic mission. Well-planned programs begin with an ambitious purpose and a commitment to assess progress towards that purpose over a long period of time.
