The faculty for Freshman Year Programs at City Tech is carefully selected in order to best support the needs of the remedial student. We choose the most qualified and energetic instructors to engage and inspire our students. Student achievement has been commonly linked to faculty enthusiasm for their discipline.
Our faculty participate in meaningful workshops and are trained in developing curricula that will best prepare freshman remedial students for success in passing the ACT exams and forthcoming college coursework.
The human and personal element of our faculty is of great importance. It is our aim to ease the student's transition into college life from the comfort and safety of a familiar neighborhood, high school, or language. We offer a supportive educational atmosphere, while at the same time introduce students to the rigors of a college academic life.
