Hands-on TESCERA™Training a Plus for Restorative Dentistry Faculty

In late November 2007, three representatives at Bisco, Inc. – Zoran Pantelin, Sarah Peterson and Emil Libman – presented hands-on TESCERA™ composite resin training to the faculty of City Tech’s Department of Restorative Dentistry as well as to Grace Rodriguez and Courtney Burris, two dental technology faculty members from Clara Barton High School. The day-long training session allowed the educators to familiarize themselves with equipment, materials and build-up techniques used to create dental restorations with TESCERA™ indirect composite resin.

TESCERA™ is a state-of-the-art system for fabricating and processing indirect composite restorations, using materials that allow for life-like translucency. Students will benefit from the training provided their instructors as they become even more proficient in applying yet another top dental product used by their future employers in the dental technology field.

“Both City Tech and Clara Barton High School students and faculty are grateful to Bisco, Inc. for its ongoing support of their respective dental programs,” says City Tech Restorative Dentistry Professor Renata Budny. “A special note of thanks goes to Zoran Pantelin for organizing the training and providing the very best company technicians available to instruct the faculty of both schools in proper product usage.”
