Annual Welcome Back Bash Spells F-U-N
The annual Welcome Back Bash, a beginning-of-the-year social gathering for students, was held on Thursday, September 5, 2002. The event, held in the newly renovated Atrium courtyard, featured amusements, pizza and music. The Office of Student Activities, the Office of Student Life and Development, and the Student Government Association sponsored the event.
Amusements included an oversized air-inflated
boxing ring with larger-than-life boxing gloves, an obstacle course
requiring participants to crawl through, up and over a number of
hurdles, a bungee run, and an "American Gladiators" style
jousting ring. Students were also treated to pizza supplied by the
Student Government Association. *It was a fun afternoon for students
to reconnect with their friends at City Tech.
