Department of Nursing to Host 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner & Silent Auction on April 20
The Department of Nursing at New York City College of Technology will host a 50th Anniversary Celebration Dinner & Silent Auction on Friday, April 20, 2012, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., in the College’s Janet Lefler Dining Room, 300 Jay Street (at Tillary), 2nd Floor, Downtown Brooklyn. Proceeds from the event will support the Nursing Department Student Scholarship Fund.
Several prominent members of the healthcare community will be honored. The honorees are Rosanne Raso, R.N., senior vice president for nursing services at Lutheran Medical Center and co-founder/co-president of the Brooklyn Nursing Partnership; Thomas Smith, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, chief nursing officer and senior vice president at Maimonides Medical Center; and Yvonne J. Graham, NYS Associate Commissioner of Health, and former Brooklyn Deputy Borough President and chief executive officer of the Caribbean Women’s Health Association.
Tickets are $50 per person and the event is open to the entire college community, Department of Nursing students, faculty and alumni, and other friends of the College’s nursing program.
