10th Annual Poster Session Slated for Thursday, November 15, 1-3 p.m.
The 10th Annual Poster Session at New York City College of Technology will be held on November 15, 2012, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Klitgord Center Gymnasium, 285 Jay Street (at Tillary), Downtown Brooklyn. Funded in part by the City Tech Foundation and open to the general public, the event provides students and faculty with an opportunity to showcase the results of their research and members of faculty to showcase their publications.
The poster session will spotlight work in the areas of architecture, biological sciences, engineering technology, health sciences. humanities, information technology, mathematics, physics, professional studies and social sciences. The Poster Session creates a spirit of College community, honors its intellectual achievements, and inspires its members. This year marks the 10th anniversary of this initiative, which over the past decade has grown, diversified and evolved into a cherished tradition at the College. By promoting faculty and student research, the initiative has added a new dimension to life at City Tech. This dimension has continued to grow as the success and popularity of the original Poster Session spurred the creation of the Honors and Emerging Scholars Poster Presentation by students which focuses on their research.
