Fall 2005
Nov. 2005 Steering Committee Co-Chairs and workgroup members chosen.
Self-Study model chosen – Comprehensive Model.
Dec. 1-2, 2005 Presentation to college administrative, governance, and faculty leaders at institutional retreat.
Dec. 2005 MSCHE staff liaison schedules self-study preparation visit to the institution.
Spring 2006
Jan. 30-May 8, 2006 Weekly Steering Committee meetings
March 2006 Workgroup members chosen
Orientation sessions for all workgroups.
Workgroups were charged
April 24, 2006 First draft of self-study design submitted to the Executive Committee and the
Steering Committees.
Executive Committee meeting
May 1, 2006 Final draft of self-study design submitted to the Executive and Steering Committees.
Plans to select student representatives for each workgroup.
May 4, 2006 Self-study design sent to MSCHE staff liaison
May 9, 2006 MSCHE staff liaison conducts self-study preparation visit
May, 2006 Staff liaison approves Self-study design.
Steering Committee posts approved self-study design on college website.
Fall 2006
Sept. – Dec. 2006 Steering Committee oversees research and reporting by workgroups.
Workgroups involve the college community (Focus groups, surveys, interviews, meetings with key individuals)
Sept. 11, 2006 Steering Committee meeting
Review Fall 2006 schedule and tasks
Oct. 2, 2006 Steering Committee meeting
Workgroups submit preliminary reports
Nov. 6, 2006 Steering Committee meeting
Workgroups submit revised reports to Steering Committee
Dec. 11, 2006 Steering Committee meeting
Steering Committee submits revised report to the Executive Committee.
Winter 2007
  MSCHE selects the evaluation team Chair, and NYCCT approves the selection.
Chair and NYCCT select dates for team visit and for Chair’s preliminary visit.
NYCCT sends copy of the self-study design to the team Chair.
Spring 2007
  MSCHE selects evaluation team members, and NYCCT approves the selection.

Workgroups submit revised self-study reports to Steering Committee
April 2007 Steering Committee develops a self-study report draft
May 2007 Steering Committee submits final draft to Executive Committee
Fall 2007
Sept 2007 Self-study report posted on college website.
NYCCT community reviews draft self-study report.
Evaluation team Chair reviews draft self-study report.
NYCCT governing board reviews draft self-study report.
Sept- Oct. 2007 College community reviews draft and submits comments to Steering Committee
Oct. 2007 Steering Committee reviews comments from college community
Oct. 22, 2007 Steering Committee meeting
Revises and edits final draft of self-study report.
Nov. 2007 College sends final draft self-study report to evaluation team Chair
Nov.-Dec. 2007 Team Chair makes preliminary visit (4-7 months prior to team visit)
NYCCT prepares final version of the self-study report.
NYCCT completes materials for document room and copies of supplemental materials for evaluation team.
Winter 2008
Jan 1-14, 2008 Printing of Final Report and preparation of packages for team members
Jan 15, 2008 NYCCT sends final report to evaluation team and to MSCHE (at least 6 weeks prior to team visit)
Spring 2008
Mar. 4-15 (Tentative) MSCHE team visit
