• Brooklyn Physician/Community Activist Makes Major Gift Toward Scholarships at City Tech’s 2009 Best of New York Award Dinner
  Garey V. Ellis, MD, a native of Bedford-Stuyvesant/Brooklyn and founder/executive director of Inner Force Economic Leadership Development Corporation, presented New York City College of Technology President Russell K. Hotzler with a generous contribution and a pledge for more toward the Garey V. Ellis, M.D.-Tomora-Lutreast Ellis Endowed Scholarship Fund at the College’s 2009 Best of New York Award Dinner on May 18. The Ellis endowment represents the largest gift to the College by an individual in recent years.
