Miguel F. Cairol has a BS in Management Science from California State University at Los Angeles, a Masters of Business Administration in Business Policy and Strategy and a Masters of Philosophy from Baruch College/CUNY, and a PH.D. in Organizational Behavior and Management with a minor in Marketing from the City University of New York.
Dr. Cairol has taught at a number of private and public institutions where he also served as Chairman of the Business Department and Director of the MBA Program. Dr. Carol has had administrative experience prior to coming to CUNY as Vice President for Finance and Administration and Acting Vice President for Academic affairs. He came to City Tech in 2004 as Acting Dean for Planning after serving in a similar capacity at York College, which also included responsibilities as Special Assistant to the President.
Dr. Cairol served at Queensborough Community College/CUNY as Professor of Business Administration, Dean of Administrative Affairs, Dean of Facilities Management, Dean of Faculty and Staff Relations and Dean of Academic Planning.
